Tax Credit could be extended
This is some good news for those that are currently under contract trying to close their home loan before the 7-1-10 deadline to get that tax credit.
The House today passed HR 5623 to extend the closing date deadline for residential loans eligible for the tax credit to September 30, 2010. Our lobbyists advise us that there is a chance that the Senate will pass this bill today or tomorrow.
This isn’t written in stone yet but it’s looking good!
